OUR PROJECT JUSTIFICATION:
1.) Inadequate platform for Financial
Inclusion in Nigeria with special focus on rural communities was noticed.
2.) Inadequate empowerment (sometimes none at
all) for low income earners to create wealth through business development
activities has been the norm.
3.) No/Low savings culture among low income
earners.
4.) High Level of Financial illiteracy, no
entrepreneurial skills and no training to enable individuals create and manage
wealth.
5.) Lack of adequate platform for the
facilitation of capital accumulation among
low income households.
6.) Lack of credit access to the economically
active poor, including formal and informal self-help groups, individuals and
associations
7.) Inadequate Promotion and monitoring of
loan usage amongst the beneficiaries of micro-loans.
8.) Inadequate Provision of loan disbursement
services for the delivery of credit program of government, agencies, groups and
individuals for poverty alleviation.
9.) Lack of Relevant Micro-leasing
facilities, Micro-housing, micro-finance related hire purchase, arrangement of
consortium lending and supervised credit schemes to ensure access to financial
inclusion.
10.) The lingering plight of the poor rural
youth and the physically challenged.
11.) Prevalent Food insecurity and
general unacceptable living conditions of women headed households.
